Our Mission Statement

This website is dedicated to supporting families travelling together.  Although my husband and I have taken our 10 year-old twin daughters to over 20 countries, we wanted to start this blog writing about our journey to all 50 states in the Union with our girls.  It is our way of showing our kids where they come from.  We want them to see for themselves how America came to be and how it continues to stay together not in spite of being a melting pot but because of it.  We are pushing our biases aside and clearing our own prejudices away to better understand all of those who call themselves Americans.  So join us as we venture forth from sea to shining sea!
